Palm House Series

Inspired by a recent visit to Kew Gardens, I have created a series of Palm House mini prints. Screen printed using multi-layered, hand-cut paper stencils, the prints measure 4" x 4". Working to this scale is challenging!

I love the architectural quality of the plants, set against the impressive Victorian iron and glass structure.

The Palm House at Kew was built in the 1840s, and is one of the world’s most important surviving structures of its kind. It’s absolutely beautiful.
